Marty Brazell was born and raised in South Carolina. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia to attend school. After graduating with a BFA from The Atlanta College of Art, he worked in many different motifs as an artist. Marty has worked with stained glass, metals and antiques just to mention a few.

For the past ten years he has worked as a decorative artist in the United States and has carved a unique niche in faux finishes and murals in residential and commercial settings.

In 2010, Marty visited Australia for the first time. Needless to say he fell in love with it and decided to call it home. He is now a resident of Melbourne.

Marty’s love and passion for painting are still a driving force in his life. After spending some time studying and painting in Encaustics (Bees wax and Resin), lately he has returned to oils and acrylics. I think you could call his work Contemporary, and Expressionist.

Marty’s work includes landscapes, portraits, abstracts, as well as, combining text and lots of texture. As of late, his work is becoming a combination of all.
